Here's a bit about me: I'm a sarcastic, witty, nerdy designer who wakes up thrilled each day that I get to create things and make the world a prettier place through art. Told ya, nerd-alert! Ok, so for the real nuts-and-bolts about me, read on.

I grew up in Frisco, Texas, a rapidly growing suburb of Dallas. I attended Texas Tech University, where I graduated in 2003 with Dual Bachelor degrees in Psychology and Communication Studies with a focus on Interpersonal Communication. Being raised in an artistic and creative family, I've always had a knack for design, art, and knowing what speaks to people. What better recipe for creating a Graphic Designer?

Following graduation from Texas Tech, I pursued studying design in Chicago, IL and then San Francisco, CA over the next 4 years. After immersing myself in the completely different creative environments that these two cities had to offer, I returned to Dallas to bring my creative skills to life working for acclaimed printing houses, galleries, and artists. Using my love of art and knowledge of the impact that a great advertising campaign can possess, I found my niche in Advertising/Marketing and delved into the Graphic Design world as an in-house creative.

I have since formed ongoing partnerships with several businesses in their endeavors to get their brands, services and products out into the public eye. Everything from creating Corporate Branding packages, Marketing/Promotional materials, Magazine and Newspaper advertisements, to Logo design. Social Media Marketing and Email Campaigns are also an integral part of my repertoire. In the Fall of 2011 I started my own company, Little Bee Creative, to further these undertakings and give myself a place to 'stretch my legs' creatively speaking.

Most recently, I've been a jack-of-all-trades, as Senior Graphic Designer for Omnitracs, LLC in Dallas, TX, where I've been privileged enough to spearhead a complete company-wide rebranding effort, lead the print/web/visual/environmental design adventure for four annual user conferences and many trade shows, successfully launched two microsites that are my proud brainchildren, and a crazy amount of day-to-day projects that included anything from custom infographics to cover wraps for Forbes magazine. Yep, I said Forbes. Highlight of my career so far! I also spend my copious spare time as quasi Gallery Director/Designer for Davis & Blevins Gallery, aspiring photographer, and stationery designer extraordinaire.

All of these things bundle together to make me the wonderful, creative mess that I am. Curious to learn more? Please fill out the contact form and we'll chat!
